Sending Receipts
Send a receipt to a customer after completing a transaction - either as a scannable QR code or via email.
Before You Begin
- You must have completed a transaction (ticket sale, concession order, or donation).
Two Ways to Send a Receipt
After a payment is confirmed, you'll see the receipt options on the order complete screen. Use the tabs at the top to switch between the two methods:
QR Code Receipt
This is the fastest option. The screen displays a QR code that the customer scans with their phone camera. It opens a web page with their full receipt details - no email needed.
Just hold up your device and let the customer scan.
Email Receipt
- Tap the Email Receipt tab.
- Enter the customer's email address.
- Tap Send.
You'll see a "Receipt successfully sent" confirmation once it goes through. If there's a typo in the email address, the app will let you know.
Sending a Receipt Later
If the customer asks for a receipt after they've walked away, you can still send one by email:
- Open the relevant sales screen (**Sell Tickets**, Sell Concessions, or Collect Donations).
- Tap the scroll icon in the top corner to open the order history.
- Find the order and tap it to view details.
- Use the receipt options from the detail screen.
Tip: The QR code option is great for keeping the line moving - no need to ask for an email address. For customers who want a copy for their records, use the email option.
