Understanding Billing & Payments

A one-time event fee is required to unlock all Marching Maestro features for your event.

The Event Fee

Each event requires a one-time payment to activate features like registration, ticketing, scoring, streaming, and more. Until this fee is paid, registrants, volunteers, judges, and patrons will not be able to access your event on Marching Maestro.

The fee amount is displayed on the Billing page for your event.

Paying the Event Fee

  1. From your event dashboard, go to Event > Billing in the sidebar.
  2. You'll see the fee amount and a description of what it includes.
  3. Complete the payment using the checkout form. Marching Maestro uses Stripe for secure payment processing.

After Payment

Once the payment is processed, the Billing page updates to show:

  • A confirmation message: "You're all set!"
  • A receipt showing:
  • The line item ("Marching Maestro Event Fee") with quantity and price.
  • The total amount paid.
  • The payment date and time.
  • The card used (brand and last 4 digits).
  • A link to download your receipt (if available).

Understanding Event Financials

Once your event is active, you can track revenue across all features from Event > Financials. The financials page shows:

Four cards at the top display your totals:

  • Fees - Marching Maestro and payment processing fees.
