Creating Ticket Types
Ticket types define the different tickets available for purchase at your event, such as general admission, premium seating, or parking passes.
Ticket Types Table
The ticket types page displays a table with the following columns:
- Name - The ticket type name.
- Group - What the ticket is for (Admission, Parking, or Other).
- Price - The ticket price.
- Status - A green "active" chip or default "inactive" chip.
- Limited Access Link - For limited access tickets, a copyable link that can be shared with specific people.
Creating a Ticket Type
- Click Add New Ticket Type.
- Fill in the following fields:
- Name (required) - A name for the ticket type (up to 50 characters). For example, "Premium Seating". A character counter is shown.
- Description (optional) - A description of what the ticket includes (up to 191 characters). For example, "Reserved seats near the 50 yard line."
- What is this ticket for? (required) - Choose one: Admission, Parking, or Other.
- Price - Choose Free or Paid. If paid, a price selector appears with a range of $0 to $1,000 in $0.25 increments. A fee breakdown is shown below the price if your event has sales tax enabled.
Advanced Options
Expand the Advanced Options accordion for additional settings:
- Disabled - Toggle to disable the ticket type. Disabled ticket types will no longer be available for purchase. Enabling this also turns off limited access.
- Limited Access - Toggle to hide this ticket type from your event website. When enabled, a unique link is generated that you can share with specific people. Only those with the link can purchase this ticket type. This option is not available if the ticket type is disabled.
- Click Create to save.
Editing a Ticket Type
Click the pencil icon on any row to edit the ticket type. All fields can be changed. Click Save to apply changes.
Deleting a Ticket Type
Click the trash icon to delete a ticket type. A confirmation modal will ask you to confirm: "Are you sure you want to delete [name]?"
