Setting Up Performance Classes
Performance classes define the competitive categories for your event. Registrants select a performance class when they register.
Accessing Performance Classes
From your event dashboard, go to Registration > Performance Classes in the sidebar.
What Are Performance Classes?
A performance class represents a competitive category at your event - for example, "Class A," "Class AA," or "Open Class." Each registrant is assigned to one performance class, which is used for scheduling, scoring, and displaying results.
Performance classes can optionally be grouped into divisions.
Creating a Performance Class
- Click Add New Performance Class.
- Fill in the fields:
- Name (required) - The class name, up to 50 characters. Example: "Class AAA".
- Description (optional) - A brief description, up to 75 characters. Example: "Up to 60 performers".
- Division (optional) - Select a division to assign this class to, or choose "No division" to leave it unassigned. Divisions display on scoring recaps.
- Click Create to save.
The Performance Classes Table
The table shows all performance classes with columns for:
- Reorder arrows (up/down)
- Name - The class name.
- Description - The class description.
- Division - The assigned division, if any.
- Edit and delete icons.
Reordering Performance Classes
Use the up and down arrows to change the order. The order here determines how classes appear on scoring recaps and other displays - classes within the same division are grouped together by this order.
Editing a Performance Class
Click the pencil icon to edit a performance class. You can change the name, description, and division assignment.
Deleting a Performance Class
Click the trash icon to delete a performance class. A confirmation dialog will ask you to confirm before the class is removed.
Important: Deleting a performance class that has registrants assigned to it may affect those registrations. Consider reassigning registrants before deleting.
