Setting Up Divisions

Divisions are optional groupings for your performance classes. They appear on scoring recaps and help organize results by size or category.

Accessing Divisions

From your event dashboard, go to Registration > Divisions in the sidebar.

What Are Divisions?

A division is a higher-level grouping for performance classes. For example, you might have divisions like "Small School" and "Large School," each containing multiple performance classes. Divisions are displayed on scoring recaps to group results.

Divisions are optional - you can use performance classes without assigning them to a division.

Creating a Division

1. Click Add New on the Divisions page.
2. Fill in the fields:

• Name (required) - The division name, up to 50 characters. Example: "Division I".
• Description (optional) - A brief description of the division.

1. Click Create to save.

Reordering Divisions

Use the up and down arrows next to each division to change the display order. The order here determines how divisions are listed on scoring recaps and other displays.

Editing a Division

Click the pencil icon next to a division to open the edit dialog. Change the name or description and click Save.

Deleting a Division

Click the trash icon next to a division to delete it. You'll see a confirmation dialog before the deletion is finalized.

Note: Deleting a division does not delete the performance classes within it. Those classes will become unassigned.
