I Can't Log In
Having trouble signing in to the Maestro app? Here are the most common causes and how to fix them.
"Sign In Error" Message
If you see a "Sign In Error" dialog after tapping Google, Apple, or entering your email and password, try the following:
- Check your internet connection. Make sure you're connected to Wi-Fi or mobile data.
- Make sure you're using the right account. You need to sign in with the same Google or Apple account your event organizer has on file for you. A different account won't be linked to any events.
- Try again in a few seconds. Temporary server issues can cause login to fail. Wait a moment and try again.
- Force close and reopen the app. Swipe the app away from your recent apps list, then reopen it and try signing in again.
"No Events Found" After Logging In
If you log in successfully but see a message saying "No Events Found" - your account isn't linked to any events yet. This usually means:
- Your event organizer hasn't added you to the event yet. Contact them and confirm they've added your email address.
- You signed in with a different email than the one your organizer used. Double-check which email they have on file.
Once your organizer adds you, log out and log back in to see your events.
Forgot Your Password
If you're using email and password login and can't remember your password:
- On the login screen, tap Forgot Password.
- You'll be taken to the Marching Maestro website to reset your password.
- Follow the instructions in the reset email, then return to the app and sign in with your new password.
Apple Sign-In Not Showing
Apple Sign-In is only available on iPhone and iPad. If you're on an Android device, use Google Sign-In or email and password instead.
Volunteer QR Code Not Working
If you're scanning a volunteer QR code and nothing happens:
- Make sure the QR code was provided by your event organizer. Only official Maestro QR codes will work.
- Check that your camera is pointed directly at the code and the image is clear and well-lit.
- If the app asks for camera access, tap Allow. Without camera permission, the scanner can't work.
- If you previously denied camera access, go to your device's Settings, find Maestro, and enable camera permission.
Still Stuck?
If none of the above steps help, reach out to Marching Maestro support. In the app, tap your avatar in the top-right corner, then tap Contact Support. On the website, tap the chat icon in the bottom-right corner.
