Managing Staff
As the primary registrant for an event, you can invite staff members to help manage your group. Staff members can access files, messages, scores, and other features for your registration through the Marching Maestro app and website.
How Staff Invites Work
When you invite someone, they receive an email with instructions on how to accept the invitation. Automatic reminder emails are sent periodically until they accept. You can also manually send reminders or copy the invite link to share directly.
Inviting Staff
- Click Add Staff Member on the Staff page.
- Choose how to add staff:
- New Staff Members - Enter one or more email addresses separated by commas.
- Previous Staff Members - If you've had staff at previous events, select from a list of people who have worked with you before.
- Click Send Invites (for new staff) or Add Staff Members (for previous staff).
Staff Table
The staff table shows all current and pending staff with these columns:
- Name - The staff member's name, or the invite status if they haven't accepted yet.
- Email - Their email address. Pending invites show "(pending invite)" after the email.
- Last Reminder Sent At - The date and time of the most recent reminder email (shown for pending invites only).
Managing Invites
For pending invites, you can:
- Copy the invite link - Click the copy icon to get a direct invite URL you can share.
- Send a reminder - Click the paper plane icon to resend the invitation email. A confirmation prompt asks you to confirm before sending.
Removing Staff
Click the trash icon next to any staff member to remove them. For accepted staff, this removes their access to your registration. For pending invites, this revokes the invitation.
Accepting a Staff Invite
If you've been invited as a staff member, you'll receive an email with a link. Click the link to view the event details and accept the invitation. Once accepted, the registration appears in your My Registrations list.
