Payouts & Stripe Connect

Marching Maestro uses Stripe Connect to handle payments and payouts for your organization. The Payouts page lets you connect your Stripe account, view your balances, and cash out funds.

Connecting Stripe

If your organization hasn't connected a Stripe account yet, the page shows a "Not connected" status.

  1. Click Setup Stripe Connect. This button is only visible to Admin and Owner users.
  2. You'll be redirected to Stripe to complete the onboarding process.
  3. After completing setup, you're redirected back to Marching Maestro and the status updates to "Account connected".

Note: Read Only users can view the Stripe connection status but cannot set up or manage the Stripe account. An Admin or Owner must complete the Stripe Connect setup.

Connection Status

Once connected, the page shows two status indicators:

  • Account connected - Your Stripe account is linked. A tooltip shows your Stripe account ID.
  • Charges enabled - Stripe has approved your account for processing payments.

If charges are disabled, a message explains that charges must be enabled on your Stripe Connect account before you can sell tickets, FanGrams, or concessions. A link to Stripe's documentation is provided.

Managing Your Stripe Account

Once connected, the Setup Stripe Connect button changes to View Stripe Connect Account. Clicking it opens a link to your Stripe Connect dashboard in a new tab where you can manage your account settings, bank information, and payout preferences.

Account Balances

When your Stripe account is connected, the page displays two balances:

  • Available balance - Funds that are ready to be paid out to your bank account.
  • Pending balance - Funds that are being processed and not yet available for payout.

Payout Schedule

Marching Maestro automatically initiates a payout to your bank on the 1st of each month. This notice appears when you have an available balance.

Cashing Out

If you'd like to receive funds before the automatic monthly payout:

  1. Click Cash Out (only enabled when your available balance is greater than $0).
  2. A confirmation modal shows your current available balance.
  3. Click Cash Out Now to initiate the payout.

Funds are typically deposited into your bank account within 1-3 business days.

If you have any pending payouts in progress, a note at the bottom of the balance section shows the total amount being transferred.
