Updating the App

Keep the Maestro app up to date so you have the latest features and fixes on event day.

How Updates Work

Maestro uses two types of updates:

App Store updates — Major updates are released through the App Store (iPhone/iPad) and Google Play Store (Android). These require you to download a new version of the app, just like any other app on your phone.

Over-the-air updates — Smaller updates and fixes are delivered automatically in the background. When you open the app, it checks for the latest update and applies it. You don't need to do anything — these happen silently.

Checking for App Store Updates

On iPhone or iPad:

  1. Open the App Store.
  2. Tap your profile icon in the top-right corner.
  3. Scroll down to see available updates.
  4. If Maestro has an update, tap Update.

On Android:

  1. Open the Google Play Store.
  2. Tap your profile icon in the top-right corner.
  3. Tap Manage apps & device.
  4. If Maestro has an update, tap Update.

Tip: Turn on automatic updates on your device so you always have the latest version without having to check manually.

Checking Your Current Version

You can see which version of the app you're running from the Settings screen:

  1. Tap your avatar in the top-right corner to open Settings.
  2. Scroll down to the App Info section.
  3. Your current Version, Build Number, and Update ID are listed there.

If you contact support, they may ask for these details to help troubleshoot.
