Shared Files
The Files page lets you upload and share files with people involved in your event, including registrants, volunteers, and judges. Shared files are accessible through the Marching Maestro app.
Uploading a File
- Click Upload New File.
- Click Choose file... to select a file from your computer.
- Optionally enter a Description (up to 100 characters).
- Under "Share with", toggle on the groups who should have access:
- Registrants
- Judges
- Volunteers
- Click Create.
Note: Maximum file size is 20MB. All file types are accepted.
Files Table
The table shows all uploaded files with the following columns:
- Name - The file name.
- Access - The groups the file is shared with (for example, "Registrants, Judges").
- Actions - Icons to edit, view, or delete the file.
Editing a File
Click the pencil icon on any file row to edit its description or change which groups have access. The file name is shown but cannot be changed after upload.
Viewing a File
Click the eye icon to open the file in a new browser tab.
Deleting a File
Click the trash icon to delete a file. A confirmation modal warns that users who were given access will no longer be able to access the file. Click Delete to confirm.
Caution: Deleting a file is permanent. Users who had access will immediately lose access.
