Announcements

Announcements let you share important information with everyone involved in your event. When you post an announcement, Marching Maestro sends an email to the groups you choose and a push notification to users who have the app installed.

Sending an Announcement

  1. Click Send New Announcement.
  2. Select one or more recipient groups:
  • Registrants - Performing groups registered for your event.
  • Volunteers - Volunteers signed up for your event.
  • Judges - Judges assigned to your event.
  • Ticket Holders - People who have purchased tickets.
  1. Enter a Title (up to 100 characters).
  2. Enter the Content of your announcement (up to 1,000 characters).
  3. Click Send.

Note: You must select at least one recipient group before sending. The Send button stays disabled until a title, content, and at least one recipient group are provided.

Viewing Past Announcements

The announcements table shows all previously sent announcements with the following columns:

  • Recipients - The groups the announcement was sent to.
  • Title - The announcement title.
  • Content - A preview of the announcement content.
  • Sent At - The date and time the announcement was sent.
  • Emails Sent - The number of recipients who were emailed.

Click the eye icon on any row to view the full announcement. In view mode, all fields are read-only.
