Signing Up to Volunteer
If an event organizer has enabled volunteer signups, you can sign up to help out at the event from the event website or by scanning a QR code at the venue.
Signing Up Online
You'll need a Marching Maestro account to sign up. If you're not logged in, the form will prompt you to log in or create an account first.
- Navigate to the event website and click the volunteer signup link.
- Fill out the volunteer form with your contact information.
- Choose a volunteer task from the available options (for example, "Concessions" or "Gate Attendant").
- If the task is an equipment type, enter the quantity you can provide.
- Optionally add any notes for the event organizer.
- Submit your signup.
Your signup starts as "Pending" until the event organizer reviews and accepts it.
Signing Up via QR Code
Event organizers may display a QR code at the venue for quick volunteer sign-in. Scan the QR code with your phone to sign up through the Marching Maestro app.
Note: Volunteers who join through the QR code can scan and sell tickets and concessions, but cannot send messages through the app.
