Signing Up to Volunteer

If an event organizer has enabled volunteer signups, you can sign up to help out at the event from the event website or by scanning a QR code at the venue.

Signing Up Online

You'll need a Marching Maestro account to sign up. If you're not logged in, the form will prompt you to log in or create an account first.

  1. Navigate to the event website and click the volunteer signup link.
  2. Fill out the volunteer form with your contact information.
  3. Choose a volunteer task from the available options (for example, "Concessions" or "Gate Attendant").
  4. If the task is an equipment type, enter the quantity you can provide.
  5. Optionally add any notes for the event organizer.
  6. Submit your signup.

Your signup starts as "Pending" until the event organizer reviews and accepts it.

Signing Up via QR Code

Event organizers may display a QR code at the venue for quick volunteer sign-in. Scan the QR code with your phone to sign up through the Marching Maestro app.

Note: Volunteers who join through the QR code can scan and sell tickets and concessions, but cannot send messages through the app.
