Setting Up Awards

Define the awards given out at your event. Awards are calculated automatically based on the scores entered, so you can view the current winners at any time.

Viewing Awards

The awards table shows all configured awards with the following columns:

  • Reorder arrows for changing display order
  • Name - The award name
  • Description - The award description
  • Scoring Round - Which round the award is based on

Creating an Award

  1. Click Add New Award.
  2. Fill in the following fields:

Basic Information

  • Name (required) - The award name, up to 100 characters (for example, "Silver Division Champion"). A character counter is shown.
  • Description (optional) - A longer description of the award, up to 1000 characters. A character counter is shown.
  • Scoring Round (required) - Select which scoring round this award is based on.

Eligibility

Choose which registrants are eligible for this award:

  • All - Any registrant in the scoring round can win.
  • In a specific performance class - Only registrants in a selected performance class are eligible.
  • In a specific division - Only registrants in a selected division are eligible.

If you select a performance class or division, a dropdown appears to choose the specific one.

Criteria

Choose what score determines the winner:

  • Total Score - The overall total score determines the winner.
  • Caption Group Score - The score for a specific caption group determines the winner. A dropdown appears to select which caption group.
  • Caption Score - The score for a specific caption determines the winner. A dropdown appears to select which caption. Captions within caption groups show the group name as a prefix.

Placement

Select which place receives this award, from 1st through 10th.

  1. Click Create to save.

Tip: To give awards for multiple placements (for example, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in a division), create a separate award for each placement.

Editing an Award

Click the pencil icon on any row to edit the award. All fields can be changed. Click Save to apply changes.

Reordering Awards

Use the up and down arrows to change the display order of awards.

Viewing Award Winners

There are two ways to view current award winners:

  1. From the Awards page - Click View Award Winners at the top. A modal opens with a scoring round selector. Choose a round to see which registrants currently hold each award based on the entered scores.
  2. From the Tabulation page - Click View Award Winners below the recap to see winners for the currently selected scoring round.

Award winners update in real time as scores change - you can check them at any point during the competition.

Deleting an Award

Click the trash icon and confirm to delete an award.
